Members of this team must be appointed. They assist with offering and communion. They help to maintain an orderly environment during our worship services. They also minister to congregants that have been hospitalized or have lost a love one.
Members of this team help in the training of young women in the Church, prepare communion, minister to the sick & shut-in, and assist in anyway, as directed by the Pastor.
Members of this team receive, account for deposits, regulated the flow of money through the church.
This group of voices have dedicated themselves to the total ministry of song. They meet weekly for rehearsal and often travel with the Pastor.
Youth Ministry that teaches our young people how to worship and praise God through song. The youth are M.A.D.D. (Music Art Dance Drama) for Christ.
These are our more mature, seasoned voices that have truly been blessed with the gift of singing.
Christian Education
This team designs and outlines all facets of education at Second Saint John.
Alexander Von Speed Scholarship Fund
This ministry is designed to assist High School Seniors, who have been accepted into and accredited college or university.
Food Bank
This ministry provides assistance for those that are hungry.
Ushers
This anointed and alert group of servants maintain order and comfort in the House of the Lord. They meet monthly for new developments.
Hospitality
This team makes sure our newcomers and guests feel at home and welcome. They distribute our monthly newsletters, serve as host/hostesses for our special events, and provide information to congregants at our Welcome Center.
Health & Wellness (Nurses)
This dedicated team maintains the Health and Well being of our Pastor, members, and visitors during our worship services and special events. They also provide information on staying healthy.
Men's Ministry
This Godly group of men meet on a regular basis for prayer, athletic activities, and fellowship. They are determined to show the significance or FEARLESS MEN who love God.
Administrative Staff
This dedicated group of professionals, keep accurate records of the membership, business meetings, and write official letters on behalf of the church.

This group of saints are the elect. 55 years and over is the only requirement. They meet regularly, volunteering their services wherever needed.
Beautification Ministry
This service helps provide the look that is tasteful and becoming for the sanctuary and the entire church.
S.W.A.T. Team (Saints with a Testimony)
This anointed group of individuals meet weekly to hit the streets and witness to those who are in various neighborhoods. (OUTREACH)
Transportation Ministry
This service provides transportation to and from worship service.

God's servants helping to serve the Man of God.
Sunday School
This part of Christian Education is designed to teach students of all ages.
Media Ministry
This ministry records all services at Second Saint John and distributes them to those who cannot attend worship.
